| Solubility: | This extract has a high degree solubility in a water/ alcohol mix as supplied but it may produce a cloudy-ish solution indicative of the fact that the extract isn't fully solubilised. We recommend, in most situations, to prepare your herbin solution and then filter out any residue before adding it to your product. |
| Use Amount: | This herb is 10 times more potent than fresh Verbena so to create a single strength liquid extract you would add 10g of herb to 90g of a water/ alcohol mix and then filter it. a 20% alcohol mix is usually strong enough. |
| Typical Dose: | 1-10% of a 1:1 liquid extract which is what you have created above. |
| Heat Stability: | Very high. You could use this as your water phase in an emulsion and heat it but it is more typical to use this as an extract and add it at the end of manufacturing. |
| Cosmetic Function: | Anti-irritant, soothing, astringent. Pairs well with Witch Hazel. |
