| Solubility: | This extract has a high degree of water solubility as supplied but it will produce a cloudy-ish brown solution indicative of the fact that the extract won’t fully solubilise. We recommend, in most situations, to prepare your herb into demineralised water and then filter out any residue before adding it to your product. |
| Use Amount: | This herb is 4 times more potent than fresh lavender so to create a single strength liquid extract you would add 25g of herb to 75g of water and then filter it. You could use that water as-is in your formula (so as your water phase) or you could take that single strength liquid and add it into your formula at any percentage. Bladderwrack is a safe extract and can be used in any proportion depending on your product aspirations. |
