| Solubility: | This extract has a low degree of water solubility as supplied and may produce a cloudy-ish solution indicative of the fact that the extract won’t fully solubilise. We recommend, in most situations, to prepare your herb into a demineralised water and alcohol mix (20% alcohol, 80% water) then filter out any residue before adding it to your product. |
| Use Amount: | This herb is 36 times more potent than fresh Rosemary so to create a single strength liquid extract you would add 2.8g of herb to 97.2g of water and then filter it. You could use that water as-is in your formula (so as your water phase) or you could take that single strength liquid and add it into your formula at any percentage. |
| Typical Dose: | 1-10% of a 1:1 liquid extract. |
| Heat Stability: | Very high. You could use this as your water phase in an emulsion and heat it but it is more typical to use this as an extract and add it at the end of manufacturing. |
