| Please note: | Glycerine based extracts are sold in grams/kilograms and not millilitres/Litres. Glycerine extracts have a specific gravity greater than 1.00, this means that they are more dense or heavier than water and 1g/1Kg will not equal 1ml/1Lt. |
| Herbal Strength: | This is based on a 4:1 extract (4 times stronger than the fresh plant material) extracted into a glycerin base at approx. 1% concentration. |
| Formulating Tip: | We generally advise adding your extracts at the end of manufacturing once the mixture has cooled down to preserve the vitamin content of the plant. Temperatures of 50C or less are suitable. This can't be added into an oil based serum. |
