| Formulating Tip: | Add to your product once cooled to preserve the activity of the extract. Avoid extreme pH changes but can be used from pH 4-8 |
| Background Information: | Zizyphus is a member of the buckthorn family (Rhamnaceae) and has a long history of use in Chinese medicine where it is known as the sour date (Suanzaoren). Traditional medicine uses Ziziphus to help calm the spirit, treat irritability, insomnia and heart palpitations. The extract has a low toxicity. |
