The agarwood oil suppliers in India offer these oils to fragrance makers and other users for blending purposes.: Historically, rapeseed oil had high erucic acid and glucosinolates. It made it less nutritious for humans and gave it an unpleasant taste. So, it was put to industrial use. Then, cultivars with low glucosinolates and low erucic acid were developed to make them edible. Canada produced these varieties initially with the trade name 'Canola' that became common for double-low, palatable cultivars. Production has been steadily increasing since it entered as an edible vegetable oil in the 1970s.
Uses: Canola oil is used in soap production, illuminants, and synthetic rubbers. It has a high protein content that makes it suitable for animal feed. The cosmetic manufacturers use it in making creams, lipsticks, lotions, and hair oils.
Therapeutic Benefits: Canola oil contains triacylglycerols lipids that act as high-energy storage compounds. It is rich in vitamin E and K and antioxidants that support skin and eye health. It gets quickly absorbed by the skin and nourishes and moisturizes the skin and hair. The oil prevents infections and delays aging signs. Its massage helps reduce arthritis and stiffness.
