| Benefits: | In-vitro, the peptide has a significant photo-defensive effect on human epidermal keratinocytes and human skin fibroblasts. In-vitro, the peptide is able to quench the most cytotoxic product of lipid peroxidation, 4-hydroxynonenal, therefore inhibiting the formation of carbonylated proteins and preventing DNA damage. Clinically, the peptide improves the appearance of all the signs of premature skin aging. Overall, the peptide has been found to minimize the effects of intrinsic and extrinsic aging able to reverse and prevent skin cell damages induced directly or indirectly by UV irradiation. |
