Properties/Benefits: Marula oil is one of Africa's greatest skin care oils containing antioxidants like vitamin E, essential fatty acids like omega-9 and omega-6 and phenolic & flavonoid compounds. These potent ingredients work together to deeply nourish, moisturise, protect, and rejuvenate the skin and hair. Its high content of palmitic acid creates a protective coating on the surface of the skin, making it beneficial for dry skin sufferers. From neutralising free radicals and preventing premature aging to improving skin elasticity, soothing inflammation, and promoting healthy hair growth, Marula oil is a multi-functional beauty elixir that promotes a healthy and radiant appearance for both skin and hair.
Texture: Marula oil has a lightweight texture that is often described as silky and smooth. It is easily absorbed by the skin and hair, leaving little to no greasy residue. Marula oil has a non-greasy and non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging) nature, which makes it suitable for a variety of skin types, including oily and combination skin.

Supplier information: Our supplier is proud to support tree planting activities every year, as part of their commitment to sustainability since their inception in 2016. They also take pride in training the farmers they work with in sustainable harvesting practices for the tree species we use and supporting them with forest management. They are particularly proud to work with women, as 95% of the people they collaborate with are women. In rural areas of Zimbabwe, where our supplier operates, women make up a significant portion of the population and are often involved in fruit and nut picking. While they may showcase women in their pictures, it is not a deliberate exclusion of men. In fact, they also see male involvement in activities such as transportation of fruits and nuts and operating machinery.
