Helps make thick and creamy emulsions that leave the skin feeling hydrated. Soluble in most common raw cosmetic materials for the emulsion oil phase. Inhibits crystallization in formulations. Can be used as a plasticizer, gelling agent, barrier, and consistency factor. Gels many oils with relatively low wax concentrations. Melting point: 75-95�C. |
