| Proposition: | Under California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, better known as OEHHA Prop 65, we are required to place a warning to this product since the OEHHA believes that retinol/retinyl esters may cause reproductive harm (e.g. interference in female/male reproduction or embryonal development), when used in daily dosages in excess of 10,000 IU or 3,000 retinol equivalents. Importantly, retinol/retinyl esters are still required and essential for maintenance of normal reproductive function. Recommended daily level during pregnancy is 8000 IU. |
